How To Root Vivo V7 – Root process is used for phone users who want to have more access to their smartphone. And of course to root there is a separate way to do it, whether it’s with a PC or without a PC. In this article I have provided the tutorial and root download for the Vivo V7 below.
Vivo V7 is one of the newest smartphones introduced by Vivo in December. This smartphone has a notch with screen measuring 5.7 inches, and resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels.
Vivo V7 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and Adreno 506. Vivo V7 runs on Funtouch OS 4 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Vivo V7 comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. One of the attractions offered by Vivo is the presence of good camera on the rear with cheap price at about only 250 Euro.

Note: This process will completely wipe everything from your phone, so I suggest you to first backup your important data.
How To Install TWRP on Vivo V7
Before we started this root process, you should make sure your Vivo Y93s is already unlocked. If your Vivo Y93s is not unlocked yet, you can visit here to unlock bootloader Vivo Y93s.
TWRP itself is a custom recovery to not only give rooting for your Android, but it’s also a place to flash another ROM or mod for your phone. Now, if you’re sure already unlocked your Vivo V7, then download the necessary file below.
Now follow this step to start proceeded.
STEP #1. Extract the TWRP file that have you downloaded then install Minimal ADB Fastboot. Now copy file twrp-vivoV7.img to C:\Program Files (x86)\ Minimal ADB and Fastboot.
After that, copy Noverity.zip file and SuperSU or Magisk to your sdcard or USB OTG (Note: don’t copy this file to your internal storage, you need an external sdcard or USB OTG).
STEP #2. Hold down the Shift key and right-click on the blank area in the folder and then select “Open command window here” or “Open PowerShell window here”.
STEP #4. The CMD or PowerShell window will open, after that connect the phone to the PC using a USB cable. Try to use the original USB cable of the cellphone.
STEP #5. After the Vivo V7 is detected by a PC, its time to enter fastboot mode by typing. adb reboot botloader
Step # 6 . After entering fastboot mode, type the following command to install TWRP Recovery Vivo V7. fastboot flash recovery twrp-vivoV7.img
Step # 7 . After that, reboot the phone by typing the command. fastboot boot recovery twrp-vivoV7.img
Congratulations, now your phone has TWRP installed properly and correctly, then the next step is to do the root process as shown below.
How To Root Vivo V7
Now I’ll assume that you have installed TWRP on your phone and now you are at TWRP screen. Now follow the next step to root Vivo V7.
STEP #1. At first, you maybe noticed that your phone asking for password that you never created and thus make you freaking out. But just relax, you only need to click “Cancel” and viola!, TWRP finally open.
STEP #2. Now after finally open, TWRP will ask your permission to modified system, then you should give the TWRP a required permission.
STEP #3. After finally showed up, choose “Install” and maybe you will surprised that your internal storage became 0, but once again you don’t need to worry. Now you must put your external sdcard or your USB OTG to your phone.
Go back to TWRP menu and choose “Reboot > Recovery” and wait until phone reboot to recovery, means reboot to TWRP.
STEP #4. After TWRP open, once again choose “Install” and now “Select Storage” and choose sdcard or USB OTG depends on what you’re using. Then search Noverity.zip that you have copied before, flash it then back to back to TWRP menu and select Reboot > Recovery.
STEP #5. Now, once again check your internal storage, if it’s still show as 0 then you must Wipe it by using Wipe menu and select Data. You must wipe to make your internal storage back again.
STEP #6. If your internal storage is back to normal again, it’s time for you to install SuperSU or Magisk from your external sdcard or USB OTG. To do it, you must back to TWRP menu and choose Install just like flash Noverity file before.
Also don’t forget to install Noverity.zip again if your storage is 0 and you already Wipe it.
After all process completed, you can finally reboot your Vivo V7 to system. But reminder that this time, a reboot time will be a little longer than usual, its normal anyway. But if it’s turns out that your phone is bootloop, you can try to flash Vivo V7. See you next time at HowToApps.info.
