How To Root Xiaomi Redmi 6A – Root process is the way to make you a superuser, its mean you can do whatever things that previously blocked by some permissions. You can add anything or remove anything, but of course with some risk involved. So at this time, I will make an article to show you an instruction to root your Redmi 6A. You can download a necessary file down below.
Launched alongside Redmi 6, Redmi 6A is set to be succeding of most selling budget Xiaomi phone, Redmi 5A. As a successor of course, we can except some improvements here and there. Just from looking, you will know that first improvement is the design. Redmi 6A borrow the design from Redmi 6 like 5.45 inch HD+ display with 18:9 ratio.
This phone is powered with latest Mediatek chipset, Helio A22, thus make Redmi 6A the first phone using this chipset. Anyway, Helio A22 is 12nm SoC that runs with quad-core 2.0 GHz CPU, Mediatek also claim Helio A22 is 30 percent faster than its direct alternative.
Actually it’s a little surprise from Xiaomi considering they always use Qualcomm SoC before, but a little change made in Redmi 6A and Redmi 6. As for the camera, Redmi 6A doesn’t feature a dual camera setup like Redmi 6, but it’s a single camera with 13 megapixel sensor.
This sensor also features f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and of course a LED Flash. The front camera gets a 5 megapixel sensor that also can be used as Face Unlock. Unlike Redmi 6, Redmi 6A only offer a 16GB storage and 2GB RAM variant. The sensors onboard are quite complete for a budget smartphone include light sensor, compass, proximity and accelerometer, but missing IR sensor like it’s brother.
But the good news is from Redmi 6, Xiaomi now use dual-SIM setup, no longer a Hybrid. From out of the box, Redmi 6A is run with MIUI 9 which based on Android 8.1 Oreo, the phone also come with 3000 mAh battery under. You can buy this phone for 599 Yuan or about 99 Euro at Chinese market for now because Redmi 6A is not officially goes global yet.
